The Deeside Access Panel was formed to bring to the attention of people who provide a service to the public, their legal obligations to make reasonable adjustments in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. The Panel can help businesses to implement best practice in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 by offering informed comment on ways to make their service more user friendly for people with disabilities. Aberdeenshire Signposting Project (ASP) provides a service within GP Surgeries, Community Hospitals and by self-referral throughout Averdeenshire to help clients to find tailored solutions to the non-medical issues affecting their quality of life. This service is free and available to individuals over 16 years of age who may be struggling to cope with issues and unable to find help. If you are recently bereaved, unemployed, experiencing relationship problems, feeling isolated, stressed or worried, contact with the project may be made in a number of ways.
